The Family Histories Podcasts

‘A positive, conversational, fun show about family history and our family historians – the often un-sung heroes tirelessly breathing life back into our collective social history’. The Family Histories Podcasts interviews family historians about their own experiences of researching, then delves into life of one of their relatives, and finally discusses a research brick wall. Each episode is given a title based on the guest and related stories. For example, The Rioter, The Benefactor, The Antiquarian, The Quack, and so on.

Family Twist

‘A podcast about DNA surprises, amazing adoption stories, NPE revelations & more twists’. Family Twist starts with Kendall’s story about discovering his birth family, and the life changes that brings. It continues in further episodes by talking to many other people who’ve uncovered and share the twists in their own family stories, or who work in this area.

‘Ironclad Sisterhood embraces the power of creativity to breathe life into the convict women’s stories’. The Ironclad Sisterhood Podcast is a work in progress, beginning with a couple of episodes introducing the Ironclad Sisterhood project about women convicts transported to Australia between 1788 and 1818.
