Hello and welcome!

My name’s Sarah and I’m a librarian and family historian. I combine traditional research with genetic genealogy, and love to hear stories, see photos, and learn more than the vital facts. I’ve been researching my family history for many years and have learned a lot over that time, and by completing related tertiary qualifications.

I hope you’ll join me on my adventures in family history. I’ll be sharing some of the stories I’ve discovered through my research, and continue to discover, along with research advice. There will also be reviews of some of the family history books I’ve read, enjoyed, and found insightful. So let’s get started!
